About Last Squad 3D

A full 3D battle royale that loads in a browser tab — no launcher, no install, no account.

What it is

Last Squad 3D drops you onto Kestrel Isle with 49 AI opponents. You free-fall from a cargo plane, parachute onto the island, scavenge weapons, armor, grenades and vehicles, and fight to be the final survivor as a shrinking blue zone squeezes everyone together.

Matches are short, self-contained and designed to start the moment you click Play. There is no lobby queue, no season pass and no progression grind — just the run you are in right now.

Kestrel Isle

The island mixes coastal fishing huts, an inland town, a military compound and open farmland, all generated as a single continuous terrain with water, foliage and drivable roads. Loot quality varies by location, so every drop is a risk-versus-reward decision.

How it is built

The game is a Next.js application rendering real-time 3D with Three.js and WebGL. The world, physics, ballistics, bot AI and audio are written from scratch in TypeScript and run entirely on your machine — the server is only used to record match results and serve the leaderboard.

All sound, including the cargo plane engine, gunfire and explosions, is synthesised live in the Web Audio API rather than streamed from audio files, which keeps the game lightweight and instant to load.

Version and roadmap

The current release is v1.2.1 — featuring persistent operator identities, character customisation, career history, the full island, vehicles, the blue zone and the complete arsenal.

Ideas on the list for future updates: more vehicle types, additional islands, smarter squad-based bot behaviour and a spectate mode.
